Meet Queen Nala
Nala is a F3 Savannah / African Jungle cat hybrid. This means she has a wild African serval grandparent, and wild African Jungle cat great grand parent. The Savannah cat comes from a cross between an African serval and a domestic cat. The African Jungle Cat hybrid, also known as the Chausie Cat, comes from crossing an African Jungle Cat to a domestic cat. Nala is a big girl weighing in at 20lbs at almost 1.5 yrs old. She is very playful and friendly. She loves being a mom and enjoys her time outdoors with her babies wrestling with the, playing tag, teaching them to climb trees, and hunt insects.
Meet our Lioness, Kiarra
Kiarra is a F3 African Jungle cat hybrid. This means she has a wild African Jungle cat grandparent on her mothers side and and a wild African Serval great grandparent Kiarra’s mother was a f2 Jungle cat Chausie hybrid. Kiarra’s ancestry on both her mother’s and father’s side originate from Africa. The jungle cat is from the genus felis chaus, which includes the jungle cat, jungle lynx, reed cat and the swamp cat. Kiarra is the best tree climber in the house. She always finds the highest point around to climb. Sometimes at the top of a tree other times on the roof of the house or the roof of our motor home. Kiarra is tall with lean well defined musculature. Kiarra is about 15 lbs and not quite done growing yet. She is very vocal, and will literally hold an entire conversation with you. Her voice is very unique and she has a growl that is reminiscent of a miniature mountain lion, that’s the reason we call her our little Lioness.
Kiarra and Nala love taking long road trips in our motorhome. This past summer we went to the beach and they loved it. They also enjoy it when we take trips to our mountainside property. The property is a uncleared forested hillside. They get to climb trees and cliffs and love playing by the river.
